Coverage Array Settings

Plot Coverage Array

This is turned off by default and is not required. By turning this feature on you can create many Coverages at once (using the values of the Coverage you are creating).

Evenly Spaced

By default, the Coverage Array feature will evenly space your Coverages around the Tower location. turning this off allows you to plot them side by side.

EXAMPLE:

4 65° Sectors that are evenly spaced with the first azimuth set at 0 will set

  • #1 at 0°
  • #2 at 90°
  • #3 at 180°
  • #4 at 270°

With the same values and Evenly Spaced off:

  • #1 at 0°
  • #2 at 90°
  • #3 at 180°
  • #4 at 270°

Advertised Sector Beam Width

This setting is the calculating value that determines at what Azimuth to set each sector center. This does not affect Coverage Propagation, only positioning.

Number of Coverages

This value is automatically calculated using the advertised Beam Width Setting to obtain 360° of propagation but can be altered if you have spacing or overlap between Sectors.
